Alfredo Rossi, the business partner of Tony Scatt who was Ambrosi Victor Eckhart’s father, is known as the man who gave the Eckharts their surname. After losing his esteemed friend, who he run a restaurant with, because of a few mob members, Alfredo took care of Tony’s wife and sons, but he could not prevent the same killers from killing two more people from the Scatts. He risked his life for the last surviving Scatt, so he changed Victor’s surname and helped him to escape to America.
When Victor came back to Italy as a strong man, he provided his financial support to Alfredo and his family and promised that the Eckharts would always be with them. Today, the Rossi family that lives in Palermo is one of major law families in Italy and operates Tony’s Restaurant as well as Rossi Law Firm. Because their deep friendship with the Eckhart family is not in the public eye, the members of the Rossi family live a calmer life than the Kilclines', far away from the Eckharts' enemies.
