Beyond the Horizon; shows the beginning of the fourth era of the Eckhart family as well as it has qualification to be an introduction to ESF.

The first book of the novel series, that serve a narration from points of view of different characters and that run around lives of the Eckhart members, focuses on the relationship between Brian Maximiliano Eckhart and Jasmine Lescroart.

To Jasmine who has nothing except for a poor family, two housemates and a boyfriend, she is just a normal woman. To Brian whose girlfriend was killed by his family enemies, he is cursed. And his family is the curse itself. She tries to stand on her own feet and fill her family with pride. He goes through an uphill struggle to save people including his family from darkness. She cares about people's feelings more than hers. He lives to make people happy rather than himself. Will these two altruist people follow their own feelings despite-- Her boyfriend? His fears? Everything? Will they muddle through it as nobody gets hurt?
